Sweden Calling

Stockholm is a city that needs little introduction. Known as the ‘Capital of Scandinavia’ and the ‘Venice of the North’, it’s a peaceful, vibrant and captivating city, which has many bridges and islands. When we got there the weather was finally warming up and it was great to see the locals outside in the sunshine enjoying themselves, especially after the winter they just had. Stockholm’s quaint little squares, wonderful boutiques and interesting architecture are my favourite things about the city. I loved our time at Skansen, an open air museum and zoo right in the city centre, on one of the islands. Yes it is an expensive city to visit but it was well worth it in my eyes. Enjoy the photos!
